For Underground America, Orner compiled and edited the stories of various men and women who came to the United States and confronted life-changing challenges that they never expected. This book is a collection of first-hand accounts, illuminating the human experiences that elude the headlines and are rarely considered in political discourse about immigration. The discussion will center on the power of the human story and the often harsh reality of immigration in the US.
